IT services company, Dimension Data Asia-Pacific, and messaging and mobility company, Infinite Convergence Solutions, have partnered to resell and host a Cloud-based enterprise messaging service developed by Infinite Convergence Solutions.
Named NetSfere, the secure enterprise messaging service will leverage Dimension Data’s Managed Cloud Platform (MCP) and global geographic presence, with an initial focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
It aims to reduce latency and ensure data sovereignty requirements for clients in regulated industry verticals, such as banking and financial services, healthcare, and government.
Dimension Data Asia-Pacific IT-as-a-Service general manager, Manish Pratap, said NetSfere enhances productivity and solves the security issues that enterprises have with the mobile messaging platform.
“We are excited to partner with NetSfere and enable the service on our Cloud platform, and enable instant global availability of this service. We are committed to bringing industry leading solutions as an integrated proposition as part of our Cloud ecosystem strategy,” Pratap said.
Dimension Data Asia-Pacific end-user computing general manager, Neville Burdan, added that the company’s approach to end-user computing delivers a message to the market around how to drive business value from mobility in the enterprise.
“Our partnership will enable clients to leverage Dimension Data’s experience in designing, implementing and managing end-user computing platforms, backed by NetSfere’s secure messaging service, to deliver data security and integrity for their mobile platforms. It’s a win-win situation for all parties."
Infinite Convergence CEO and NetSfere creator, Anurag Lal, said Dimension Data has a strong focus on the enterprise market, which directly syncs with NetSfere’s capabilities.
“Together, we’ll be able to cater to the messaging needs of enterprises globally and especially in the Asia Pacific region where mobile messaging use is increasing at a rapid pace,” he added.
