Jul 31, 2013

To bring the latest advances in messaging to TMC readers from CTIA (News - Alert) 2013 show in Las Vegas, TMC CEO Rich Tehrani visited the next-generation mobility solutions provider Infinite Convergence Solutions’ booth and met with president and CEO Anurag Lal (News - Alert). Tehrani asked Lal to describe the company and what products were being shown at CTIA.

Thanking TMC’s CEO, Lal said that Infinite was in the business of providing a messaging platform to tier 1 carriers around the globe, who are utilizing the technology to deliver messaging solutions to their customers. He then described the company’s messaging solution for carriers, the Rich Communication Suite (RCS). “It is a feature friendly service that brings many benefits to the carriers and is compliant with GSMA’s (News - Alert) RCS specifications,” Lal told Tehrani. He further highlighted the RCS messaging features like one-to-one and group chat, multimedia messaging (pictures, audio and videos) file transfer, and video-sharing, seamlessly integrating IP-based chat applications across mobile and desktop devices with cloud-based technology. In addition, it is reliable with high availability, noted Lal.

Leveraging the carrier-based RCS messaging solution, Infinite Convergence (News - Alert) has now extended the same service to the enterprise. And it is called Enterprise Messaging Service or EMS. This cloud-based messaging service is specifically designed for enterprises to securely exchange information with customers, employees and business partners globally. Like carrier RCS, the EMS is highly reliable, secure and can be seamlessly integrated with the enterprise, noted Lal.

Besides offering all the features available with the carrier grade solution, the EMS also includes Intelligent Analytics, an added value Lal said emphatically.

Next, Tehrani asked Lal to explain how Infinite Convergence customers get their return on investment (ROI). Answering the question, he quickly said that on the carrier side, the platform scales well, performs well and delivers solid set of features. On the enterprise side, it provides high availability with intelligent analytics. “We are allowing them to fine tune their outreach that much more, so that the outreach is more relevant, more powerful to their purpose,” explained Lal.

“That is how they get their ROI, affirmed,” said Lal.
