‘iVerve’ the Employees’ club of Infinite Computer Solutions, a global service provider, hosted the second edition of the much anticipated ‘Infinite Golf Challenge’ at The Clover Greens golf course in Bangalore on June 25th, 2016. The Infinite Golf Challenge, is a premier annual fund-raising golfing event bringing together – Golfers, Sponsors and employees from Infinite for a worthy cause – to raise funds for Sparsha, an NGO that works towards keeping children off the streets. Like the first edition, this year too saw many leading corporates came forward to support the event, which include Cisco, Assetz, Futurisk and Wealth Advisors who are the platinum sponsors; 22by7, Callaway, Orion UNIGLOBE Mod Travel who are the associate sponsors for the event.
An array of leading CEO’s and Managing Directors from various companies had a fun-filled day at the event. The noteworthy aspect of this event is transparency, which is maintained in transferring all funds generated from the efforts of the employees directly to the NGO.
The 5000+ employees at Infinite actively manage activities aimed at supporting & creating awareness around social causes through the Employees’ Club- iVerve. iVerve is actively involved in driving the Infinite Golf Challenge by engaging employees to contribute both their time and expertise. Note: the entire tournament is planned and implemented by individual employees of Infinite without the help of any external agency, in a bid to minimise costs and increase the collection for the NGO.
The tournament format was designed to be exciting for each player and included attractive prizes and fun –on- course activities. This year featured many On-course prizes which include- Longest Drive; Smartest Straightest Drive; Closest to pin, among others. The Infinite Golf Challenge was played both as a team of two and individual level and was across two handicap categories, including Net and Gross point systems to ascertain winners of the tournament.
The tournament witnessed more than 100+ passionate golfers who came together to prove their golfing prowess and compete with one other to win the many attractive prizes which were on the offing. The registration is through contribution to Sparsha at INR 5,000/- per participant.
