Infinite Convergence Launches Industry Leading Rich Communication Suite of Products for Carriers on Both IMS and non-IMS Networks
Infinite’s rich media chat and next-generation messaging solution is packed with features for a superior consumer experience, enabling carriers to compete more effectively against Over-The-Top (OTT) applications
CHICAGO, Ill. – Infinite Convergence Solutions, a carrier-grade next-generation mobility technology provider, announced today the launch of its Rich Communication Suite (RCS) product. With a rich feature set based on GSMA’s RCS standards, the solution enables mobile network operators to offer TELCO-grade enhanced messaging services to mobile subscribers.
Infinite Convergence’s RCS solution enables mobile network operators to deliver new, media-rich instant messaging services, including one-to-one chat, group chat, inter-carrier chat, text messaging, multi-media messaging, file transfer and video sharing. As new phases of the product roll out, incorporating social media and long-term messaging storage from a unified portal, Infinite Convergence anticipates this product to become the center of the customer’s wireless life.
Operators don’t need to wait any longer to deploy RCS. With a range of deployment options, Infinite Convergence’s RCS solution is widely available to all operators, regardless of network type or size. Infinite offers deployment options in IMS, non-IMS, 3G and 4G, as well as Wi-Fi networks. With the cloud-based option, mobile operators can offer RCS services while avoiding the associated CAPEX and OPEX of an in-network deployment.
“This RCS technology enables operators to deploy compelling multimedia messaging services, helping them to compete with Over-the-Top (OTT) applications,” said Talila Millman, Chief Technologist with Infinite Convergence. “We expect fast, widespread adoption of this technology among consumers. It will eventually become a staple of the wireless experience.”
Infinite Convergence’s products are deployed in Tier-1 and Tier-2 carriers. With a long history of providing high performance, high availability and fault tolerant solutions, Infinite Convergence’s RCS offering comes equipped with the level of service mobile operators have come to expect.
