26 March 2012

Reliability, scalability and comprehensive standards-based feature set makes Infinite Convergence Solutions technology the perfect choice for mission critical Public Safety LTE Messaging

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – March 26¬, 2012 – Infinite Convergence Solutions (www.infinite-convergence.com), a provider of carrier grade next-generation wireless communication technology ,today announced that the company’s Public Safety Multi Media Messaging Solution (PSMM) has been selected by one of the leading global mobile technology and platform vendors to add to its Public Safety offering.

The PSMM provides IP-based text and multimedia messaging capability for fire departments, police departments and other first responders.  It allows public safety agencies to process mission critical messages, allowing emergency officials to send and receive text and multimedia messages, in real-time with assured delivery.  The company’s PSMM is a scalable solution that allows one-to-one, one-to-many, and group messaging.  This allows first responders to communicate in real-time, accurately assess an emergency and, determine the appropriate response in highly volatile, time-critical situations.

“We are pleased to provide the messaging capability for the Public Safety Infrastructure.  Our product’s 5-9s reliability and Tier 1 past performance makes it an excellent fit for the Public Safety application.” said Anurag Lal, Chief Executive Officer of Infinite Convergence.

The PSMM Server is a private IP-based messaging solution that functions independently from the IP multimedia core network subsystem (IMS), eliminating the need for a costly IMS infrastructure.  With its long list of innovative and standards-based features, the PSMM is ideal for public safety communications solutions that require a private independent network, yet possesses the flexibility for interoperating with other networks.

Key features of the Enterprise Messaging Server include:

  • Standards-based messaging:

o Large Message Mode(LMM) for multimedia messaging (picture, video & audio)
o Pager Mode (PM) for short text

  • Independent server that does not require a full IMS infrastructure to function
  • Group messaging support (user provided list or predefined lists)
  • Supports  OMA SIMPLE clients
  • Easy scalability
  • Extensible to support Rich Communication Suite (RCS) Chat/instant messaging and file transfer
  • Store-and-forward capabilities
  • Interoperability with other networks (commercial cellular as well as other private messaging networks)

In addition to public safety, a key vertical for Infinite Convergence, the PSMM  is also the perfect solution for Homeland Security, municipalities and other government agencies.  For more information about the PSMM visit www.infinite-convergence.com.
