The customer had multiple vendors performing the QA activities with no synchronization on the processes and standards with a lack of a single automation framework to be used across all systems. QA was performed just to meet the current on-going enhancements/projects without any long term vision in terms of re-usability of the artifacts, scripts, code, data, etc. It was the customer’s responsibility to ensure the coordination between different vendors on quality and timelines for the deliverables apart from resolving the conflicts between the vendors on the deliverables and responsibilities.
